The power conversion system can control the charging and discharging process of the battery, conduct AC/DC   conversion, and directly supply power to AC loads without power grid. PCS is composed of DC/AC bidirectional   converter, control unit, etc. The PCS controller receives background control commands through communication, controls the converter to charge or discharge the battery according to the symbol and size of the power comm

and, and realizes the regulation of the active power and reactive power of the grid. The PCS controller communicates with the BMS through the CAN interface to obtain the status information of the battery pack, which can realize the protetive charging and discharging of the battery and ensure the safe operation of the battery.

Functions And Applications Of PCS

Specially designed for smart grid and smart micro-grid,accepting grid dispatching, peak cutting and   valley filling.
It has a wide application range, can connect with different energy storage batteries such as lead-acid battery,   lithium battery, super capacitor and vanadium battery, etc.
Bidirectional inverter, a variety of battery charging and discharging modes optional.
It has the function of setting working mode in time period, can set reasonable working mode according to the characteristics of local power grid.
Integrated EMS management system, in the solar energy storage system, can set the priority of solar,   battery and grid (optional).

It has two operation modes:grid-conned (charge-discharge) operation and independent isolate   network operation.It can control active power and reactive power output according to the instruction of the grid dispatching department,and has four-quadrant full capacity operation.

RS485, CAN bus and other communication interface are optional, standard MODBUS_ RTU com- munication protocol, remote monitoring:RS485,CAN.

The system consists of battery, PCS and grid, which is the most basic application scenario. It is often used for peak-load shifting. There are two operating modes, manual and automatic (setting charging and discharging time and power).

The PCS in this system, is built-in MPPT solar charging module, integrated EMS management system.   It can realize   that   the solar panels provide power to the load preferentially through PCS, and the excess electricity is used to charge the battery. When the battery is fully charged, the electricity from the solar panels is fed into the grid through PCS.
·When the solar panel power is insufficient, the battery is discharged to supply power to the load.
·When the battery power is insufficient to support the load, the battery and the grid power supply the load at the same time. As the battery power varies from 100% to the battery under voltage protection value (can be set), the corresponding grid power supplies the load from 0% to 100%.
·The PCS has a load port. This port has the UPS function to meet the load uninterrupted power supply.

This system is composed of photovoltaic grid-connected system,wind turbine grid-connected system,PCS,energy    storage battery and grid.

PCSintegrates EMS management system, which can realize the power generated by solar panel and wind turbine to charge the battery first. It can also be used with intelligent micro grid by setting the charging and discharging time and power.

System Features

Specially designed for smart grid and smart micragrid to accept power grid dispatching.
Meet the requirements of lead acid battery, lithium battery, super capacitor, vanadium battery and other different forms of energy storage, and has a wide range of applications; Bidirectional inverter, constant power, current, voltage charge and discharge and other battery charge and discharge modes can be selected.
With time period working mode setting function, set up reasonable working mode according to local power network characteristics.

Two AC interfaces, i.e. mains interface and load interface, to realize grid connected operation and independent isolated grid operation.
Perfect islanding detection and mode switching of parallel and off grid, when the power supply is suddenly cut off the PCS can automatically and seamlessly switch to the off grid working mode separate from the grid and establish a micro grid to operate independently.
RS485, Ethernet, can bus and other communication interfaces are optional to realize remote monitoring.
The smart grid master control system can be interconnected with on grid solar inverter,on grid wind power system, tidal power generation system, diesel generator and other energy modes to form a hybrid energy smart grid, which can realize a variety of networking modes.

Performance characteristics
(1)The 32-bit DSP (Digital Processor TI 2812) +ARM (Touch Screen Master Chip) platform is used for   touch screen display and   operation, which facilitates field operation and parameter setup. The core driver of DSP control and ARM realize peripheral functions such as display and communication to improve power reliability.
(2)Support RS485, WiFi, GPRS, Ethernet communication, satisfy customer remote monitoring and other functions; can display   AC and DC side voltage, current, operation mode, operation status, fault information, and can upload related data to the Internet of Things platform through the communication interface, and can start and stop power supply, parameter settings and other operations through the computer or mobile phone;
(3)Adopt three-phase four-bridge arm structure, which can carry 100% unbalanced load;
(4)Designed for smart grids and smart microgrids, accept grid dispatching, cut peaks and fill valleys;

(5)Meets the access of lead-acid accumulator, lithium power, super capacitor, vanadium battery and other different energy   storage forms, and has a wide range of applications.
